Installing channel drains
Channel drain installed at front of garage.
In some cases a channel drain may need to be installed at the front of a garage to help with drainage, especially if the garage foundation is lower than the height of the public road or pavement.

The channel drain must be laid on a concrete bed at the correct depth so it can take the strains of vehicles passing over it without damaging or disturbing the block-paving that is set around it.
Surface water drains
The channel drain can in most cases be routed to the nearest surface water drain, these are the drains that take the water away from gutters and downpipes on the side of your house.( PERMISSION NOW REQUIRED).
